'Dough Maestro's Pizzeria started from a single vision: to share true Neapolitan pizza with Rome. The Romano family established our pizzeria in 1985 as a quaint, family-operated venue, keeping alive the recipes passed down for generations.
Mia Romano, our progenitor, mastered pizza crafting during her Italian voyages, apprenticing with acclaimed pizzaiolos in Naples—where pizza originated. After returning to the UK, her mission was to replicate the essence of authentic Italian pizza, sticking to classical techniques and premium components.
What originated as a humble establishment with only 12 seats has expanded into a cherished local entity, yet our devotion to excellency and genuineness stays unchanged. We continue the legacy with our wood-fired oven practices, producing handmade dough each day, and choosing the best ingredients available.
Today, 'Dough Maestro's Pizzeria' is still a family-held venture, with the Romano next of kin now steering our dedicated crew. While we’ve adopted a few contemporary innovations, the soul of our enterprise persists: to forge splendid, authentic pizzas that unite folks.
